7 Stages to host panel on bullying

ATLANTA -- 7 Stages is doing its part to battle bullying in Atlanta schools.

The northeast Atlanta theater will host Private to Public: The Art of Activism, a conversation about bullying. Panelists Melissa Carter, Theresa Davis, Topher Payne and Scott Turner Schofield will introduce 7 Stages' bullying prevention project on Wednesday, May 28 at 6:30 p.m.

Tickets to the panel range in price from $10 to $15, with proceeds going toward the project's development. The event is recommended for people who are at least 12 years old.

7 Stages' proposed project will bring theater representatives into local schools, where they will use artistic expression to help students find their voices and overcome the insecurities that come with bullying.

Visit vendini.com to buy tickets to the panel. 7 Stages is located at 1105 Euclid Avenue.
