Fulton County’s Helene S. Mills Senior Multipurpose Facility celebrates 10th anniversary
ATLANTA -- The Helene S. Mills Senior Multipurpose Facility is celebrating 10 years of service to Intown Atlanta Seniors. The Fulton County facility, named for Atlanta native and community activist Helene S. Mills, opened on Tuesday, September 17, 2002.
A 10th Anniversary celebration scheduled for Friday, September 21, 2012 from 7:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. will feature an elegant evening of dining and dancing. The Mills Senior Multipurpose Facility is located at 515 John Wesley Dobbs Avenue, Atlanta, Georgia.
Open from 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Mondays through Fridays, the facility offers a low cost breakfast and lunch, classes and social activities, aerobics/arthritis therapy, aquatics and other services that enrich the minds, bodies and spirits of seniors age 55 and over. All Fulton County seniors are eligible to use the facility regardless of where they live.
